ANZAC

 At school we are Learning about ANZAC. We have  learned that the Anzacs went to the wrong beach.  It was not what they were expecting they got ambushed. Instead of a small hill they arrived and they got big cliffs. It was horrible they had to sleep on the ground but after three weeks that got you to it. They had to hide in trenches and if thay put there heads up ban your dead, so that made a periscope. When they had been at war four 8 months they planned an escape so the trak,s would not be killed on the way out and made guns that 

I made this letter Dear Mum, we have been in Egypt for weeks.  some idiot named John led us on the wrong beach  at Gallipoli. My best friend Jim got shot on the 18th of may . Three weeks after Jims tragic death, Jake, Bob and I  went out and  killed 16 soldes but Bob  was killed. So now it is only me and Jake because Hugh fell off the top ladder and drowned ;before we started.  Sadly a turk shot the chief. We think the turk's name was Bill    so we shot him .  It's been 4 months. Old man Jeff got his head shot off. 

It was so hard sleeping on the ground but now we are getting used to it. If we put our heads up, bang your dead. So we made a device that has a holl at one end and one at the other with a mirror at both ends so we could see up the top without getting shot. We are planning an escape. We are going to make guns that fire by themselves.

When we did this it was so fun I had no idea how horrible it was  sleeping on rocks in trenches. You should learn about ANZAC.

Today at Athletics I had so much fun. I got 5 1st and 2 2nd My 5 1st were Discis, shot put 50m 80m 1000m. My 2nd where High jump and long jump. After  the big day of Athletics the hole school went down to the beach we cleaned up the beach. But because I am in the Kaniere crusaders I went down to a different part of the beach and did a beach survey after we had finish we walked down to the rest of the school. I just got told that I made it to districts.

I think I did very well and Athletics it was very fun and I can not what for districts.

 Today at CACTUS (Combined adolesent challenge training support)

we did heaps of activities. With our teacher, one of the activities was we had to blindfold us and would walk us around the obstacle course without running into each other . We both crashed into a lot of things we had to guide each other. 

We are learning to trust each other.

It was fun, have you ever done cactus?

The’ Missing Linces’ ribbons

 

We Have been practising athletics and a the West Coast Champs  I got some ribbons. In my long jump I got 2nd,when I ran my 60m, 100m and 200m I came 2nd in all of them. In my shot put I came 2ND and in the discus I got the same. I have learnt how to do a crouch start and also learnt how to jump a lot further.

My athletics went very well and I learnt a lot.

Me and Clued up Kids

 On Friday   we went to  Clued Up Kids to learn about safety. My favourite one was the one on Quads. On a Quad you should were a helmet. You  should  be 16 to ride a grown up sized Quad and you should be with another  person with a phone or grown up with a phone. You should get trained with a trained  expert and pass.

My work went well , it was very fun and I think  they should keep doing it.

LINCOLN AND HIS E.BOOK The INVASION

This is my E.book, it's called    'The invasion'.  It took  me 2 days, I didnt find it hard and the story is cool and funny. Have you made a E.book before.?  I enjoy  writing   it is fun and you can come up with anything and type it down, but  I am trash at spelling but I try hard. Do you like to write? 

                   

Kawa of care

This week we looked out the Kawa of Care.  We looked at a very boring Google slide with the rules on it.  We desided that we would turn this boring slide into a cool looking professional looking poster.

To do this we went to a site called, Canva.  Inside the Canva site we made posters using tempates.  We choose a good looking poster and put our own pictures and words into it.  Mr A is printing this out on A3 sized paper and we will put it on the wall.

This was a really fun task and it was easy to make a really professional looking poster.
