Pepeha

This is my Pepeha. This is my greeting in maori. To make it I had to put my name, town I am from, and the  town  I live in now. Can you find out what your Pepeha is and tell me have you made a Pepeha. I had a team plat to fill in.

  1. Kia ora Lincoln,
Well done for creating this pepeha and sharing it with us all!
It is so awesome to be able to learn a little bit more about you, and a pepeha was a fantastic way to do so.
You mentioned in your pepeha how you are from Mawhera and currently live in Hokitika.
After a little bit of research, I found out that Mawhera is the Maori name for Greymouth. Did you live in Greymouth before you moved to Hokitika, or were you born in Greymouth?
The pictures you have chosen to accompany your pepeha are awesome, and I particularly like the angle the Clocktower image was taken at!
Did you take these photos yourself, or did you get them off of google?
Whereabouts was the image of Mawhera taken?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
You are doing a fantastic job with your blogging! Keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi
