Today I had to write in code to what my favourite beach is. It was head to figer out the code the learnt how to write in code have you ever tried writing in code it,s not easy hears a link on how to read code.
My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
This activity is one of my favourites as I love code languages like pigeon code and also my Mum actually made this activity for the summer learning journey!!
You did an awesome job writing your code but were you able to decipher the code written in the activity? Now your code looked really tough to me and it took me a little while to figure it out but I think I can guess which beach is your favourite. Is it Hokitika Beach? If so that is a great beach and I also like that beach. I had visited it a few times when I lived on the south island.
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
It is great to see you engaging with the Summer Learning Journey. I love secret codes. We used to make a lot of them when we were children and used them to pass secret messages to family and friends. Did you know that the games you play on the computer are also codes. When you used the Makey Makey you coded using block code, the same type of code you use in Scratch. The code they use for computing is the binary code. I wonder what you can find out about this type of coding?
Let me know what you find out, and I will send you activity that I really enjoyed doing.
