Cross country

At cross country Ben, Zack, Louis,  Haki and I all ran. At about half way my shoe came off so I grabbed it and sprinted I was in the led. My foot was so cold but I ran and ran. I came first, Ben came second and Zack came third. When the race was finished  Haki, Ben and I played tag  then we had some  food and then we walked back to school.                                                                             

Reflection

At school my favourite thing to do is maths because I like being able to do fractions in different ways to use them. I am great at maths because I continuously getting better every time because I learn from my mistakes.

I need to work on my reading by keeping up with my group I need to read faster in my head.

My favourite part of the term was when we painted our clowns because we got to melt the crayons and then paint with them.

This term I didn’t like was getting very cold hands on the stage because I was sliding on the frost.

Vocb

I have learnt  that bolt means fast. It also can mean lots of  other things like lightning bolts and bolts to screw metal together.

Procrastinate

 I have been writing about the word procrastinate and what it means. 

I  have been making ways of quarters and halves. by using shapes numbers and words.

All About Me

Hi my name is Lincoln and my school is Kaniere. My class is a class with year 3 and 4 students. My teacher is Mrs Long. My best friend is Haki. We play in the fort together having a bunch of fun playing made up games like Minecraft, Pokemon and other games in the fort. I am a year 3 student. My goal is to get more than 20 smiley faces on Xtramath. I am good at writing. I could get better at maths at school but I enjoy it anyway. I do enjoy reading. I'm looking forward to learning new stuff at school this year.

Adding Ones and Tens

I am learning how to add ones and tens and ad them together. When you put 20 and 40 you get 60.That was an example. We used materials to figure it out.
