Hi Lincoln I am glad your class name gave you the inspiration for your Piwakawaka design. I like the lego pieces that you have put on the tail to make it look more fan like. It was great that you make the wings and tail moveable, what a clever idea. Could you edit your post to tell readers how long it took you to make your creation and how you made the wings and tail movable? I hope you sent a photo of your creation into the Radio New Zealand competition, if you need the address please just email me. Entries are open until midday Friday 3rd of April so you have plenty of time. I can see that judging our class competition is going to be hard. I may need to call on some support to help with the decision making
Hey Lincoln. Your piwakawaka looks awesome. I really like the colours you used to make it, as they are natural colous,. You must be a pretty good lego master to make the wings and tail move. Well Done!
Kia ora Lincoln, Wow, what a fantastic creature you have created out of lego! You have managed to include so many small details on this piece of lego artwork, and I am extremely impressed with how well thought out and designed this little bird is! I really like the tail on this bird and the way it stands upright, yet is still angled. This replicates that of a real bird, so ka pai on your precision and ingenuity. What made you decide on the idea to build a bird? How did you know which pieces to place where? Did you model this creation off of an image of a bird? It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know! I really like the colour scheme you have chosen, and think that overall you have done an outstanding job. Keep blogging! Nga mihi
Hi Lincoln, you made a really really good job of making the Piwakawaka!...do you watch the Lego masters on TV3 on Thursday night( I think). They have big challenges each week and have to think really hard about how they are going to go about it. Each week there is a winner and they get a golden brick to use if they need it later on. Let me know if you watch it? Chris
I love that piwakawaka Lincoln you have done a really good job of making that. Was it challenging to make? Did you make it up all by yourself? I think you are a Lego Master!! Naomi
