Yesterday Dad and I went to the cemetery and played cricket. We biked up. The game went good and I was bowler first and Dad was batter. We biked home very fast because it started raining. This is my drawing.
Hi Linc very cool picture, especially the lines by the ball which makes it look like the ball is actually moving. Your cricket skills are getting really good. It must be all those after tea games with Dad. Maybe you will be a Black Cap one day? Do you prefer being batter or bowler? Have a great day Mum.
The cemetery is an excellent place for cricket Lincoln. When my children were small we played there all the time. They learned to ride their bikes on the roads. We always tried to be respectful and play in the open spaces. I like the way you have used colour in your illustration and there is a lot of detail. I wonder if you look at art on line can you see that they include foreground and background to give context to their work, artist try to put the focus at the centre of their work. May be next time you can put your cricketers up a little bit form the bottom of the page and see what affect that has on your art. It was a good subject choice for your art.
Kia ora Lincoln, You have done an outstanding job creating this drawing of you and your dad playing cricket! I really like how you have provided us with a brief description of your day at the bottom of your post, as this helps give us insight as to what is going on in the image. I appreciate the time and energy you have put into the small details in this picture. Drawing the ball with motion lines and including rain drops coming down from the clouds are both examples of some of the small details which helped make your drawing fantastic! You mentioned how you and your dad biked to the cemetery for your cricket game. How long did it take you to bike there? You also mentioned how the game was good, with you being the bowler first and your dad being the batter first. As someone who has never played cricket before, what are the roles of the batter and the bowler? It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know! Keep up the great work! Nga mihi
You also hit the ball tofar making me run all over the place
