Yesterday I went down to my hill. With my jumps. My back wheel landed over 2 meters long it was very wet and my Mum was to scared to do the jumps. Dad got about 3 meters. Isla went on a smaller jump and she went about 5 cm. I made the jumps with my Dad. It was very fun and piwakawaka I challenge you to make a jump and test it then write on your blog how far you went.
Great idea Lincoln, I wonder who will take up the challenge??. Sounds like you all had heaps of fun.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo Lincoln, that looks like great fun! Although I can understand your mum being scared. They are great photos. What made you think of challenging your classmates? That was a neat idea. Hope heaps of Piwakawaka's do it =)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lot of fun Lincoln. What a great idea. Mum might have a go next time.
ReplyDeleteHi Lincoln It looks like fun. Mabye you could go futher next time. Renny
ReplyDeleteHi Lincoln
ReplyDeleteThat field down the bottom of Bonar Drive is great fun but it doesn't have very good drainage so it is often quite soggy.
It is fun in the summer to put a slippery slide down it Have you tried that out yet? Maybe wait until summer when the weather is warmer!

Wow that looks like fun Lincoln. You need lots of confidence in your ability to stay balanced on your bike when you land to complete the jump. Did you manage to stay on the bike every time? What do you think you could do so that you could jump further like your Dad. Think about the differences between your bikes.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you have laid the photos out over your post rather that putting them in a line. It makes your post more interesting to look at. Well done. Perhaps you could edit your post and tell your audience about how you made your ramps and how long it took.
Here is a link to some really cool biking videos that I like to watch about a rider called Danny MacAskill. He if a fantastic mountain biker: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_7k3fnxPq0. I hope you enjoy it.
